Network Management Systems An Investigation Report

چکیده
The systems were used for solving GMD's network management problems. This included the management of GMD-internal routers, the management of routers used for the DFNIP traffic and the management of routers at the GMD-Ebone node. Furthermore, the state of other routers (Ebone, WIN, USA) and that of the most important GMD-internal computers (file servers, name servers) was continuously observed. The design of the test installations should consider the fact that different persons were responsible for the various areas.
